Our story is a wonderful blend of our complex God working in a simple, yet powerful way. But that's God, truly magnificent yet moving through the details of our daily lives. Last January, I (Kendall) received a Facebook message from Josh introducing himself and asking if I wanted to "get together sometime" and pointing out that we have "an interesting selection of mutual friends." Perhaps it was a miracle in itself that I thought this was to be a simple get together and that I did not have a clue that this was meant to be a date: we were both swimmers all the way through high school and college and we both were involved in the same ministry at church (though we went to different campuses). --Of course we should meet, I thought. So, I agreed to have dinner with Josh on January 24, 2010.

And, the rest is history.

Not really. That's just how we met. For the unabridged version of how we met and how Josh proposed, be sure to visit our blog. Our story is really more about the present and what our story will be in the future than the past. We both feel beyond blessed to have each other and we feel that God has given us more than our desires of what we wanted in a husband or wife. He's given us someone that loves Him and wants to share that with the other person. For that we are most grateful. We cannot wait to spend our lives with each other. We are so glad to have you all there to celebrate with us. We also hope you bring your dancing shoes. =)
