Group rate: we have secured a block of suites for $93 per night for king suites and $106 per night for double suites. These rates are valid from the night of Thursday, March 24, 2011 through the night of Sunday, March 27, 2011 (for checkout no later than Monday, March 28, 2011). You have 2 options for making reservations in our block of suites: online via this link and via phone call to the Embassy Suites (when you call, ask for the Butler/Adams wedding rate). If you have any problems booking at these rates, please contact us--we we want to help you get these rates! Please, please, please do not book a non-refundable rate that you find elsewhere for more than our group rates! UPDATE: The block has expired, however, we can probably still get you in on the rate so please get in touch with us and let us book the room for you so we can get you in on our rate!

Booking outside our group: in selecting where you stay, we want you to choose the best and most fun option for you. If for you that option is the Embassy Suites (yay!), we also want you to choose the best deal for you. Our group rate is a substantial discount from the best generally available, non-restricted rate published for the Embassy Suites and we hope it is of benefit to many of our guests. However, if you find an even better booking option (by using points, via a special rate such as government or an association, via pre-paid online special, etc.), we say go for it: as we said, we want you to get the best possible deal! However, in order to get our special group rate, we did have to commit to our guests filling a certain number of rooms and so it will be a huge help to us if you let us know when you book at the Embassy Suites but outside our room block because this will allow us to include you in all the special things we do for our guests staying at the Embassy Suites and it will allow us to count your reservation towards our commitment to the Embassy Suites.

Let us help: we want everyone to get the best possible deal and the best way to ensure that happens is for everyone to make their reservations as early as possible. If you would like to book in our block of suites at any point you encounter any problems, please let us know and we'll work to get you set. There are the 2 situations we know of that can cause challenges: due to contractural obligations, the block has a limited number of suites in it and due to hotel policies, the block closes in early March. The hotel will work with us to provide more suites at these same great prices--but they can only do that if they have suites available and so the earlier you can book, the better--but don't hesitate to reach out to us at any point for help getting into the block (remember, due to our contractual obligation to fill a certain number of rooms, reaching out to us is actually a help, not a bother to us).

Why we like the Embassy Suites and why we believe you will too: our desire for our guests for our wedding weekend is that you all have a lot of fun. When it comes to choosing where you stay, we want you to choose the best and most fun option for you! That said, the Adams family remembers fondly that for the wedding of Josh's sister Ashley, the official wedding hotel was a central hub for the guests to have fun outside of the events of the wedding weekend--and that's what we want our official wedding hotel to be! And so that end, we worked hard to find an official wedding hotel that will accommodate and encourage that very kind of atmosphere. In addition, we worked hard to find a hotel that offered great value in a great location--and we are very excited about the outcome: we have secured a block of suites at the Embassy Suites Atlanta-Perimeter Center! We considered and researched many hotels and we selected Embassy Suites for a number of reasons including:

• Great location: in real estate they say location is everything and this one is a great one: it's central from the perspective of where we and our families live and where our wedding events are being held. And it has great attractions around it: it is walking distance from the Sandy Springs MARTA station (MARTA is an excellent way to get to/from the airport) as well as many stores and restaurants and it is just down the street from Perimeter Mall--and there is a shuttle available to take you to and/or pick you up from any of these places or any others within 2 miles of the hotel.
• All rooms are suites: all rooms are suites that include a sitting room and a separate bedroom. Space is always good! We know that many of our family and friends will enjoy using their sitting rooms to spend time with other guests. In addition, the sitting areas all include a couch that folds out into a double size bed which means that each suite includes 2 separate rooms for sleeping and that the suites can comfortably sleep more people than traditional hotel rooms: in the king suites, you can sleep up to 4 people with 2 in the king bed in the bedroom and 2 on the fold-out couch and in the double suites, you can sleep up to 6 people with 2 in each of the 2 doubles in the bedroom and 2 in the fold-out couch (because the double suites sleep 6 and are slightly larger than the king suits, they cost slightly more than the king suites). We know this additional flexibility and capacity will be of direct help to many of our families and friends. But if for you it's more space than you need and you're interested in roommates, let us know and we'll work to find you some options!
• Great suite amenities: all suites include a mini-fridge and microwave plus 2 HD televisions (1 in the sitting room and 1 in the bedroom) and more!
• Breakfast at no additional charge: perhaps the attribute that puts the value of the Embassy Suites over the top is that the suite rates include full cooked-to-order breakfast from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday and 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM Saturday and Sunday.
• Great hotel amenities: we're excited about the fact that the suites offer a sitting room so you can enjoy spending time with other guests in your suites but we also love the fact that the beautiful atrium style of the Embassy Suites creates a large, open main floor with lots of seating where you can enjoy time with other wedding guests. In addition, the Embassy Suites has a fitness center that is open 24 hours per day and a nice indoor pool and hot tub open 6:00 AM until midnight (don't forget to bring your bathing suit!).
